Yes, you read that right – Women Correctional Institute. Just on the opposite of the institute is a spa that serves as training facility where a ‘massage course rehabilitation program’ is offered to inmates during the last six months of their term. Don’t worry, the ladies are eager to change and working hard for their new lives. The security takes over the role of the receptionist and schedules the appointments, which, by the way, are only possible for the same day. It is notable to say that the spa has an open area only, speaking massage beds are separated by curtains.
Lila Thai Massage has several locations around town, offers great treatments for low prices and is the ideal solution if you don’t want to spend 2000 THB on a massage, yet still looking for quality treatments. The spas are designed in a mix of modern and Thai style, the treatments rooms, however, are simpler equipped and not comparable to Fah Lanna or Oasis Spa.
